Gaspard Merten
Researcher at ULB, co-founder of MobilityTwin.Brussels
Gaspard Merten is a researcher at the CoDE lab of Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and a co-founder of MobilityTwin.Brussels.
Gaspard started the project as a master's student at ULB's Polytechnic School, designing the original architecture and data pipeline, and still leads the development and maintenance of the platform.
Gaspard's research also covers language models for movement data: GeoPandas-AI, a foundation model for trajectories, and LLMs for analysing ship (AIS) data.

MobilityTwin.Brussels
Gaspard Merten co-founded MobilityTwin.Brussels with Mahmoud Sakr. It is an open data platform from ULB's CoDE lab: one API for live and historical data on how people and vehicles move in and around Brussels.
